SC07 The International Conference for High Performance Computing

Hi Everybody, I've posted the LPCE questions here on the forum site, so that all who are interested in applying for a scholarship to attend the conference can prepare and reflect upon the questions. If you'd like you can start to answer them in a document form, then cut & paste into the offical application link when it is up. We've contacted the webmasters on the offical site and it should be up soon. Until then here are the questions. Please feel free to email me if you have any questions at mdecraene@gmail.com

Have a great day!

Best Wishes,

Mechelle

Hi Mechelle,
I've been working on my application in "rough" form - is there an actual application yet?
I'm still pretty overwhelmed with information from NECC - lots of stuff I need to learn to do and practice.
I did manage to add my portrait, as you can see. I don't do Western most of the time - just sometimes for fun, being an ex-New Yorker and New Jerseyan!

Thanks, Joey

Hi Everybody,

Yes, this is an excellent opportunity.

Here are the steps to filling out the registration and application on the NCSI site. It is a bit tricky (much different than last year) so here's the directions:

If you go to http://www.computationalscience.org/

and click on Summer 2007 Workshop and SC07 Information at the top of the page

you'll go to the list of workshops and events including SC07 in Reno

if you then click on Registration in the middle of the page or at the bottom of the page, you will see information about how to register and at the bottom you will see two options to register

I am ready to register for my first NCSI workshop. FOR PEOPLE NEW TO THE PROGRAM

I am already in the NCSI database, and I am ready to register for another NCSI workshop. FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE ATTENDED A PAST WORKSHOP

Most people will click on

I am ready to register for my first NCSI workshop.

From there you go to forms to complete with name, address, etc.

Then at the end there is a "survey" which is actually the scholarship application.

We've put the request in to simplify the process. Until then please follow the directions above and if you have any questions, please feel free to email us.

Have a good evening.

Best Wishes,
Mechelle
